Hey, Gang,

I am curious as to how I can remove the swingarm from my 1964 yamaha YA6. I am tearing down the bike for restoration and the last part is giving me some trouble. I removed the Nut on the right side but i'm not sure if you have to screw the bolt out or just pop it out. It appears to be seated in there pretty good and I don't want to damage anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

No doubt there is a bit of rust or other corrosion holding up the program.
You need to drive the bolt out without destroying the threads and it can be a taking ordeal so be cool as you roll forward.
I just had a hellofa time getting the swingarm pivot bolt out of an ATV swinger and ended up cutting it out, there was no other way.

Thanks. I ended up pounding it out but wasn't able spare the threads. Looks like i'll need a new bolt. Luckily they had one for sale on ebay for a few bucks!
