Hi! new here! I have an old 69 yamaha yl2c. Just last week I removed the carb to do a cleaning and I totally forgot which one goes to the gas tank? from picture, what is #1 for and what is #2 for? ThankS!

Shouldn't be hard to figure out which one goes to the float valve. The other is a float bowl vent with the tube going to atmospheric pressure outside the enclosure. I'd say number 2 is the fuel supply.
