I was lucky and was able to take a 6000 mile trip on a 1975 Goldwing in 1975, It seemed like the greatest cycle on the road. Does anyone have one of the old ones today that they still ride.

Oh god yes, the early wings have a huge following. I have a 78.
Check out the Naked Goldwing Club. There are a few Goldwing sites out there but IMHO NGW is the best.

Count me as a fan of the naked Gold Wings also.
IMHO today's Valkyrie is the true descendent of the late '70s naked Wings. Unfortunately, Honda is bloating it up with bags, trunk, fairing, cupholders, etc. Coming to a dealer near you, the Valkyrie Aspencade... _________________ T.J. in Alabama

I have a real nice 1975 Red one and two 1978's one blue and one black. The blue one is turbo charged. I think I may take the black one and trick it up a little.

Yeah I Agree With The First Part But I Think The Dressed Aspy Valk Looks So Much Better Than The Same In The Aspy Goldwing... _________________ If You Didn´t Build It Customize It And Or Modify It, Then It Truly Isn´t Yours. Rebel Rouser

This motorcycle was an extremely innovative design at the time: 1000cc, horizontally opposed cylinders, water-cooled, and shaft driven. It's still a great bike and it has a huge following. I have owned my '75 GL1000 since about 1977.
