Whew, it's been an interesting couple of weeks.

Found out that my original coils were good, but wasnt getting a fat spark because of a very weak battery. Found out my bike was running on one cylinder because of a fuel flow problem.

So now, she has a new condenser, points and proper fuel flow and running pretty well. There's a hint of bogginess in the low rpm range, but as the rpms climb, it's putting out some nice power. Im guessing the floats are still a little out of whack.

Thanks to all who have helped me with this.

Outstanding! I just love getting the vintage bikes running nicely!

And, just in time for winter, too. Razz

When does it start getting too cold to ride where you are?

Here in Orlando, my "off season" is actually late July thru mid September. It's just too damn hot and humid! Plus, daily afternoon thunderstorms and the odd Hurricane or Tropical Storm...

Smile

I dont put the bikes away until I absolutely have to. Even in November, we'll get a freak 55 degree day here and there. But by the end of the November, Im running seafoam through the fuel system, removing batteries, and prepping them away for a long winter's nap.

Sad

But that's three months away! Ride on.
