Has anyone had any experiance cutting apart a SL350 muffler to repair dents & make other repairs ? I've heard of this being done & altho I do Mig & Tig weld would like to hear someones experiance with this.

I guess no one has any experience with them. I am in the same boat. Mine are not in real bad condition but do have some rust holes. I can weld too but i think that the metal is so thin (even where the rust is not bad) that I will try to make some patch panels and braze them. Tig may work just as well if you're good enough at it but I'm comfortable brazing and I think that I can control the heat better. Any ideas or tips?
