I'm a happy owner of a 1969 cb350 and I need to charge my battery. I have a 1.5 amp shumaker charger that is supposed to be used for such things as motorcycles, atv's, etc. My manual says not to exceed 1.2 amps when charging, so I am reluctant to use that charger so I don't ruin the battery. Any thoughts if it would be acceptable to go ahead and charge it.

I use a 2 amp charger to charge all my motorcycle batteries. I have never had any problems or concerns. My 2 cents
