Have a nice day CharlieT, be prepared for a lot of fun on this web site. I do my best to put smiles Smile on faces, not frowns Sad .

Ray, these ain't your grandpa's Goldwings anymore! RayT rides a Valkyrie and I have a 1500 with modifications. I might put the Valk up against the stock 900F. It would be close, believe it or not. The customized wings we are doing are just plain cool. I was like you, never thought I would own a wing, and now I have three and tons of left over parts (after I removed all the useless crap). The ride is so smooth, like you are on a rail. Cool

Don't forget the Honda "cruiser" (pre Goldwing) of the sixties! This is what you had to ride....

Whoa Hold On One Moment.... The Honda GoldWing Did Not Come From Japan As A Bagger To Start With, The 75- 77 Were Street Sport Bikes, I'll Put My 76 Bober Up Against Any 900F Any Day... Just To Show What Honda Had In Mind When They Built The Most Awsome All Around Complete Platform To Exist... I Refer To My Bober As Rocket, Theres A Reason For That.... This Is Like Comparing Apples To Oranges, There Both Fruit, Its All In The Preference... I Mean No Offence By My Opinion...

Hi Charlie T, Good to see another Michigander here. I think we are leading the show with 22. Although it is hard to tell as at least 50% have no location. Anyway welcome.

Actually it would run all day at 125, that was what the 1100 was developed for, to beat a Suzuki.
I know that your Wing is not stock either. I also know that your Wing can out handle my bike the way it was two years ago but, now I have modified the shit out of her and she almost keeps up with ZX-14s & ZX10s in the twisties and she would keep up if I had bigger balls.

When are we going to ride our CBXs together again? Question Idea Wink
