Where have I been on this thread??? AJ you have having way too much fun with these old gems!! You dog, I am jealous. I only thought I got those free deals. Same thing, a guy gave me a 1974 Kaw S2 350 triple and I got her running. Need some odds and ends but it will be cool. RD beater, Yea!
Also, I just started racing vintage motocross again after 30 years with a 1974 Honda CR250M Elsinore. What a blast. Are you racing at Mid-Ohio?? I am not because I am not that serious about it but what fun. I have two T-500's also and many others. See photo album. Keep in touch and keep playing with the old stuff and bull shitting on VJMOG. Welcome!

sr71cbx,
I am going to wait until I see the title paperwork on the T500 before I spring for tires. Hey, but at least the front one holds air!

Steve,
I may need some help on the T500. Right cylinder fires and runs ok, left side only fires at mid rpm and up. I have been through the Mikuni's several times to make sure that they are clean and clear. Pretty confident it is a spark issue. Might have to hit you up later for some ideas later once I start on this.

I ran my Hodaka Super Rat (in sportsman 125) at Mid O last year and a Combat Wombat the year before and even hit Diamond Don's this year on both the Super Rat and my YZ250. DD's was a blast! Going back next year.

Mid O is out this year, work just keeps getting in the way. I think I will fly over Mid O twice this year while it is going on but cant seem to find a way to stop.

I love it when the deals just fall into my shop. Some of them are way too far gone to save but I try anyway.
