| Anyone got any leads on a good seat foam place to buy from so I can carve myself? I live in San Jose, CA but upholstery shops want $500 for a simple foam job....and that's with me already providing a brand new seat cover!!! |

Well,
This seat foam supplier must be on a secret mission..........
I wonder why others on the forum don't get to hear of a good
seat foam supplier?
I thought that was one of the primary reasons for a forum........
so we can all learn from others. read their questions, read the answers, learn something.
am i wrong? _________________ I Don't Wanna Pickle........

I ended up buying foam at Bob's Foam Factory in Fremont (bobsfoam.com) and was happy with the purchase. Unfortunately I put too tall of a neoprene base and the seat came out a bit too hard.
While I was down at the Hollister Bike Rally, I came across Bar Enterprises' (harleyseats.com) booth and they were doing memory foam replacement on the spot regardless of brand. $95 later and I've got a professionally redone top of the line foam job!

Thanks! 2.5 years into a rework that involved no chroming. I'm pretty happy. However, if I want to place in competition I have to step it up a couple notches.
The entire set of resto pics are up at http://heyjerr.smugmug.com |
