Compatible Parts for 80 KZ750G1

ok i have a still not running, and getting more frustrating 1980 Kawasaki KZ750G1 LTD twin.

i am trying to figure out is there a more common 750 twin that has tradeable parts.

i found a kz750BE on craigslist local, that is being sold as a parts bike for $125, wondering if i can use parts from this BE on my G1.

Any help is great, im new at rebuilding bikes.
