I HAVE A 1982 GS 750 E, I REPLACED THROTTLE CABLE, BIKE STILLS REVS HIGH WHEN HANDLEBARS ARE TURNED TO THE RIGHT, ADJUSTED AT HANDLE, ADJUSTED AT CARBS, REVS FINE UNTIL BIKE IS TAKEN OUT THE REVS LOW AND STALLS . CAN NOT GET TO IDLE CORRECTLY, I'M CONSTANTLY PLAYING WITH ADJUSTER SCREW AT HANDLE AT EVERY LIGHT. PLEASE HELP!

Does it only rev high when you turn your handlebars? If so, the cable is pinched/kinked somewhere. Reroute that badboy.

i think johnny has it right. i miss routed a clutch cable once and had a hell of a time with the bike stalling at slow speeds. i finally noticed it happened at right turns more then left, looked at my cable by chance while turning and saw it being pulled by the turn sig....live and learn i guess Embarassed
