So this yamaha has a dead oil pump and it has been running on pre mix fuel. The previous owner bought the block off plate for the oil pump, but he never removed it, just blocked the lines.

I opened the side cover of the engine and removed the oil pump. So under the pump there is a shaft poking out, how do i remove the shaft, so i can put the block off plate in place?

I assume I will have to split the motors case, then reassemble it without that shaft.

Any help would be appreciated,

thanks.

I'd gamble $38.00 shipped......might get it for even a few dollars less with the 'Best Offer' option.

Good Luck on whatever you decide.
