Good question.
Those PM’s will sit in your outbox until the next time the recipient logs in and enters the forums. Then things will move from the outbox to the sent box. It’s a good indication as to whether the recipient actually got your PM or if they just haven’t been around the site lately.
Cheers,

In fact, I'm fairly sure it remains in the Sender's Outbox until the recipient opens the message. _________________ 81 CB900c |

You might be right I have never actually put it to the test. It’s always been one of those. “If a tree falls in the woods does anyone hear it” sort of things with me.
Now my curiosity has the best of me so ill fire a couple PM’s off to a test account that I have.
Inquiring minds have got to know. LOL. _________________ |

Yup after careful independent scientific testing here at VJMOG labs it looks like D-Day is correct. They have to actually open the PM before it leaves your outbox.
Go figure. Its one of those things that make you go Hmm. _________________ |

What can really make you go hmmmm is why the heck did I know that. Yep, sending myself PMs late one night just to test it out. I really need a vacation!
Say, how are things at the VJMOG labs. I'd sure like to visit again and hope you've all forgiven me for the unfortunate game of "Beaker Flask Beaker" I started last time. I trust all the skin grafts have healed. Boy, did I learn that just mixing some ammonia and bleach sure can clear a room! _________________ 81 CB900c |

VJMOG labs is doing ok it just VJMOG R&D that’s sort of hurting right now. I just got done repainting the GL 1000 in a blue pearl. The problem is the pearl turned out to be one of those really flashy ones that look more like a metal flake in the sun. It was a little too disco for my tastes so I decided to do the dirty deed and strip it and start all over again from scratch with a finer grain pearl.
I hate it when that happens. _________________ |
