It seems the Kawasaki forum has been a little slow lately, so I thought, though not technical related, I would share a couple of my present projects with everyone (work is a little slow today too). The '70 with CDI is being built from several '69/'70 carcasses I have laying around. The headlight is off a '67 Kawasaki Road Runner and the seat is from hotwingglass.com (same one I'm putting on the A7). It will probably end up with clip-ons and a rearset. If anybody has a stator assembly for one of these earlier bikes they'd part with, please let me know. I have misc. stator parts, but they're a little rough. Otherwise she's pretty much complete. The '72 will basically end up just a '72 aside from the clubman bars, chambers and a rear set. Double front discs, headlight, gages, damper, and other misc. items will come from another '72 and the parts bins. Yes, I need a new seat cover. I also attached a picture of my ol' red '70 just because I miss her. She's off playing somehwere in Italy now. She never gave me any trouble.

Regards,
Jeremy

Oh man....... I'd love a triple project. Wonder what they sound like running?
This coming from a Triumph 06 speed triple owner

They sound nothing like that big thumper triple, that's for sure! They pull so quick you have to hang on to the bars and squeeze or your hands can fly off the bars. Seriously!

I did make a mistake though. The one I called a '72 is actually a '74 (the chassis anyway). It has a '72 engine in it, so I just keep calling it a '72. No big deal, but I know someone will bring it to my attention that it is not a '72. Never fails. I wish I had a barn fresh, poor condition, '72 H2! I have a dozen H1's but not one H2. I'd even settle for just an engine. Here's a pic of another project that's on the side burner right now. I can't wait to finish this one as well. This one is a '72 chassis. It also has a full H1R fairing that I need to put on it.
