My friend lost the key for his bike that I am repairing it for him right now. I can rewire the ignition and everything, but is there an easy way to pop the gas cap off on a 77 KZ1000 A1???

If it's anything like the tanks I have, you can just pop the roll pin out of the side the cap pivots on. You'd have to drill out the rivet on the catch.
