Doing a little mod on my headlight so I can run a replaceable bulb in it. There are three wires on the original bulb: a black with white stripe, a white one, and a yellow one. Can anyone tell me what hooks up to the ground, high beam and low beam. Thanks for the help, Todd

I have a wiring diagram for a 74 t500 and it shows the yellow wire gets connected to the high beam indicator light in the tachometer housing and to the H in the left hand control grip, the white wire to the L in the left hand control grip, and the black to a ground that also meets the same ground wire for high beam indicator light and the tachometer light.
If you think it might help i can try to scan the coloured diagram and email it to you?
Good luck, people don't seem to like responding to wiring questions.
Probably because they are so frustrating.
