IT LIVES!!!

Just got it to kick over yesterday. Got timing and idle set, chopped the mufflers off, put everything back together, took her out for a spin today.

Killed the battery kickin it for 10 minutes. got a jump, few more kicks and it went. Runs rough as hell, and sounds like an angry hornet with a semi automatic pistol.

List of things to do on it, is getting bigger by the day.

Gonna jet the carbs. without the extra back pressure, its runnin really lean.
probably just gonna leave it for now, and pull the carbs this winter, clean, jet and rebuild.

Not sure if i wanna get straight pipes, lower it, and change out the handle bars, maybe even rake the front out a bit. chopper it. Or I might just put on some upturned mufflers, a front fairing, leave the drag bars, and stick with the cafe racer feel.

I'm 6'3 so i dont know how good the cafe racer stance is gonna be for me, for longer trips.

But at this point it runs, it rides, minus some burping and coughing when i open the throttle full. It is gonna be a fun ride til winter.

As soon as i can find my camera, I will definately get some pics up.
