Hello, haven't been around for awhile, the bikes been working too good--until now !!. My 77 Yamaha XS360 clutch won't engage. Pull in on the clutch handle, start engine in neutral, put in 1st gear kills the engine with out letting out the clutch handle. No clutch action at all. I tried the easy one of adjusting the cable - no good. The book says to adjust the clutch you loosen the nut and do the adjustment with the screw. I can't loosen the nut because it is spring loaded. I don't want to put too much force against the nut thinking maybe the spring will break. Anyway, before I take the cover off for a look see I thought I'd ask for suggestions. Any help is appreciated !!
