Monkey Butt = Dumb Butt = Sucks

Most stock cruiser seats will give you this since a lot of pressure is right on your tailbone.

LMAO
I've never heard about this before, butt it explains my sore arse from the past couple of weeks of daily riding.
My kids are now running around the house laughing that "Dad is a Monkey Butt"
Does it eventually go away as you get used to riding, or do i need to make ..AHH..some adjustments?

Naaahhh, back in the day, monkey butt was from riding DIRT BIKES for long periods, not just any old riding. Not only the chafing, but the pounding from those super 3" of suspension travel dirt bikes used to have.

But, you're right, nowadays it comes from anything that involves sitting, sweating and chafing around there.

A buddy of mine swears by the beaded seats. BUT don't buy a cheap one. He was riding with one that he had "made" from a beaded car seat.... the knots came out and all the beads started flying all over the road. It's funny now,BUT the rest of us in the group weren't to happy as we dodged all the marbles bouncing all over the road.

Yikes!

I hear those sheepskin pads work really well too. Also disipates the heat.

Although, it would look a bit strange on the older style bike...

Yes you should get a good beaded seat ;ike Sampson...I had one custom made for my Yamaha Majesty 400 it worked like a dream on a long trip...here's the link to the maker if anyone is interested.
