Does anyone have any experience with
"Sea Foam" engine/gas treatments and
preservatives?

Their webpage has some great looking
products from fuel stabilizer to one that
supposedly removes built up carbon from
inside engines.

http://www.seafoamsales.com/products.htm

Thanks!

Man, seafoam does work well. It's not a cure-all, but does what it says it'll do.

Agreed. I get mine at the local farm King or Tractor Supply.

You can also use it for Monkey Butt.

It's that good.

Sea Foam is good. Believe the hype. Use it as proscribed and you'll be pleased. Stabilizes fuel, cleans carbs and injectors, absorbs water, increases octane. I used it in a Maxim 650 that (still) needs carbs rebuilt, but with Sea Foam in the fuel it's still running very well 4 years on. I've used it in the Maxim, XS11, diesel truck, and 2 cars with excellent results every time.

Bought my 1981 CBX a year ago, p.o. had cleaned carbs, but not well - wouldn't idle right. Before I ripped carbs off to re-do (MAJOR job!), I ran Seafoam through about 3 tanks of fuel. In that time, idle passages cleared up so much that I had to turn the idle stop down 3 times. I've since put almost 7,000 mi. on it and it runs like a champ! Thank god - I don't look forward to a carb o/haul on this rig.
