I'm up and running (for the most part)!!! I fixed my float (but have a new one on order). Got the carbs synced as best as I could for the time being. I made sure the choke was off (key thing - had the bike up to almost 50MPH). Was out riding around for over 30 minutes and put almost 10 miles on the bike. Sure felt good to be out riding. Still have some issues to work on, but they are minor now.
Thanks to everyone who gave me help over the last month or so.

sure feels good to know you can fix it yourself huh? i get more and more confident with every turn of the wrench the best part is i have worried more in the past about the bike shop doing some minor damage to the paint etc. then whether the prob was fixed. now i know the bike will look even better after a repair since i always do extra cleaning and touch-ups as i go. Well, I've been riding for the last three days. I never realized how much air resistance my body creates as I get up to higher speeds. I may have to start crouching down if I want to get above 45MPH.
Got o-ring kits ordered for the carbs (found out that they are back ordered). Also found out that I was missing the gasket that goes in between the muffler and the head (not able to create a good seal). Those are coming as well. Still have a minor leak on the right side near the valves (could be gaskets or a valve o-ring).
I've put about 40 miles on the bike so far and I'm really enjoying it. I took the really long way home today just to get more seat time and to enjoy the ride. The CL350 is a great bike for the city where you don't need to going above 45MPH (doesn't take long to get going that fast). Plan on changing the oil, checking the timing and adjusting the back brake over the weekend. Other than that, the bike is running pretty good |

Sounds like we both got our bikes running well at the same time. Nice job.
I can tolerate the wind pressure up to 55 mph for a while, after that, the lack of weight on the CB350 gets pushed around a lot. |
